So, this past week I've been to the cinema twice, both films starring Ryan Gosling. The first 'Crazy Stupid Love' I went to see with my galpal Gemma and as much as we loved drooling over Ryan Gosling in his dapper suits and every so often when he was topless, the film wasn't that great. Wednesday I suggested to my bf that we go to see 'Drive'. Well! This movie was amazing & gripping and even impressed my bf who is very critical with films. The soundtrack was original 80s electronica, which was right up my alley, unexpected and a fantastic contrast with the plot. The moments of silence added to the anticipation, the fight scenes were raw and had me on the edge of my seat! He played this role very well (hard bastard!) and it was very different from the nice guy roles we've seen in 'The Notebook' and 'Blue Valentine'. Please see this film you won't be disappointed!
